As part of the industrialization adventure started in the 1960s, and following projects based on stainless steel, we entered the paper industry, for which our country relied on foreign countries and which seemed to be capable of development, and the corrugated paper production plant in Kahramanmaraş was put into operation. The production facilities for corrugated paper in Kütahya (2012), for corrugated packaging in Kütahya (2018) and for paper bags in Kütahya (2020) were included in the integration process. All our plants produce the solutions required by the paper and packaging industry using the latest technologies. Our company continues its industrial and commercial activities as an innovative, environmentally friendly and efficiency-oriented company that meets its own energy needs, follows the principle of recycling all types of waste and strives to develop new products through research and development activities. Currently, it is one of the largest paper and packaging manufacturers in our country with a production capacity of 340,000 metric tons/year of paper, 70,000 metric tons/year of corrugated packaging, and 450,000,000 pieces/year of paper bags for various sectors at our paper production facilities in Kahramanmaraş and Kütahya.”
After the restructuring that started in 2018, our company took its place under the umbrella of KEY HOLDING (Kahramanmaraş Endüstriyel Yatırımlar Holding A.Ş. [Kahramanmaraş Industrial Investments Holding]). It would not be wrong to state that the reason for emphasizing “industrial investment” in the title of the holding company is due to the efficient production activities that our company, the flagship of the Group, has been carrying out for many years.
Kahramanmaraş Paper will continue to contribute to the future of our country by producing together with all stakeholders as it has done in the past and in the present.
